Findter Custom Filter & Search
This app lets you choose what fields to include in the user searchable database, from titles and SKUs to collections and product variants.
Access search settings
In your Shopify admin, go to Apps > Findter: Custom Filter & Search
On the left sidebar, click on the Search tab
Select Search Settings

You can enable or disable any field, simply:
Tick the checkbox and save to include that field in the search
Untick and save to exclude it from being searchable

When a customer types into the store’s search bar, the app will scan only the enabled fields to return matching results.
Once you've selected the fields you want to include, click the Save button at the bottom of the page.
💡 Tip: Enabling more fields improves search flexibility, but too many fields may reduce result accuracy. Choose what’s most relevant for your store.
Our app also supports smart title search matching. This means that instead of having to search a whole word, a user only needs to type the first 3 letters of a word, and the search will suggest all matching product titles.
