How it works

Findter collects product information from your store, including categories, variants, and other details. This data powers all the app’s features.

Filters

When you set up a filter, Findter shows all the values it finds in your store data. If anything is missing, double-check your product details in Shopify and add any additional information as needed.

On your storefront, only the values associated with products on the page will be displayed on the filter, even though there are additional values in the app configuration.

You can filter products by:

• Variants (color, size, etc.)

• Attributes (availability, collection, category, price, tags, vendors, etc.)

• Metafields (origins, dates, measurements, fabric, pattern, etc.)

Findter brings diverse filter layouts & display types:

• 3 layouts: vertical, horizontal & off-canvas

• 4 display types: checklist, box, swatch (color & image) & slider

• Choose to expand or collapse all filter options on Desktop/Mobile

• Show the count for each filter value

Flexible filter logic:

• Single or Multiple choices

• Multiple choices with AND/OR display logic (show products that match all or any of the selected filter values)

• Show all results with variant-based filtering, but automatically order them by stock status:

  • Products with at least one matching variant in stock are placed at the top of the result list.

  • Products where the matching variants are out of stock are displayed after in-stock results.

• Hide out-of-stock results for variant-based filters

Easily manage filters: Edit, duplicate, delete, enable/disable by toggle, and drag-and-drop filter criteria orders.

Search

When a customer enters a search term, Findter looks through all the store data you’ve chosen to be searchable. To keep results relevant and fast, just select the most important data fields for search.

• Admin can allow product search in store by: title, SKU, product description, collection, category, product variants, tags, type, and vendor.

• Supports Title search matching: users only need to type the first 3 letters of a word and the search will suggest all matching product titles.

• Supports Search in Collection: allows users to search within a collection, and the filter options auto-update upon searching.
